Cover the mound with an insulating layer of soil.
Locate and open each inspection port to check for ponding.
Make sure the control panel is above ground.
Open the valve box and flush lines to remove debris that may clog holes in the pipes.
Clean the pipes to prevent clogging.
Soapy water does a great job at cleaning the equipment.
